Position Summary: |
To direct the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of recreational, physical, social, intellectual, and emotional programs that enrich the lives of resident/tenants in accordance with resident/tenant's assessments and care plans/service plans. Such duties must also be in accordance with federal, state and local standards, guidelines, regulations that govern Bethany Lutheran Health Services and as may be required by the Administrator to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. |

Essential Job Functions: |
Monitor resident/tenant attendance, mood, behavior, and degree of involvement regularly so that activities are adjusted for quality and effectiveness.

|
Maintain accurate resident/tenant records (daily participation sheets, resident/tenant assessments, progress notes, etc.) and other records as assigned.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Coordinate all services with other departments to ensure efficiency, timeliness, and convenience to residents/tenants, staff, and visitors.
|
|
Collect, retain and disseminate information to the resident/tenants, staff, and visitors concerning activities, local events, and trends.
|
|
|
|
Forecast the needs of the department on a annual basis, prepare and present the budget to the Administrator for review, and assist staff in maintaining the budget throughout the year. Budget should include any capital improvements, and any other necessary expenditures based on estimates of experience. Notify the Administrator immediately of any necessary changes and adjust as required or requested.
