Position Summary: |
The primary purpose of this position is to supervise and instruct employees who prepare and serve meals; this includes, but is not limited to, supervision and instruction in maintaining high standards of food preparation, presentation and service, sanitation, housekeeping and safety, as well as maintenance and care of equipment. Performs all duties as assigned to maintain a sanitary environment. Duties must be in accordance with federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern Bethany Lutheran Health Services and as may be required by the Dining Services Director, Administrator or Registered Dietitian to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. |

- Maintain current records of departmental expenditures and assure adequate financial records and cost reports.
- Participate in care plans in Dining Service Directors absence.
Participate in annual review on each employee’s skills with regards to appropriate serving, cooking, sanitation, and keep records on each employee.
