Job Description
HAINES CLIMATE CONTROL is looking to immediately fill a Service Technician position at Restaurant Service & Maintenance (RSM) in Omaha, NE. RSM specializes in the repair, maintenance, and installation of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and cooking equipment. This is inclusive of but not limited to: Walk In Coolers, Reach-In Coolers, Ice Machines, Ranges, Ovens, Toasters, Grills, Mixers, HVAC etc. Our technicians are in constant contact with refrigerant, gas, steam, electric and electronics.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Troubleshoot and accurately diagnose service problems with equipment.
- Repair equipment to operate at MFG specifications.
- Provide clear, detailed proposals to clients when required.
- Install all replacement components.
- Have a good working knowledge of the services we offer and provide.
- Communicate well with customers and coworkers.
- Complete multiple maintenance tasks on refrigeration equipment.
- Receive work orders and respond to requests in a timely manner.
- Perform Installations & Preventive Maintenance on equipment.
- Provide written and detailed documentation for each work order.
Qualifications and Skills
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to work "on-call" duties, currently a rotating schedule. Apx. 6 days a month.
- Exhibit strong technical aptitude in Refrigeration and / or Commercial Food Equipment.
- Ability to read equipment schematics.
- Display a desire to learn, achieve and grow with our company over time.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Customer Service oriented.
