Rising View, A Bellevue/Offutt Community

Burlington Capital Properties manages quality homes in the Rising View community located in Bellevue/Offutt Air Force Base. We are seeking a detail oriented, customer service driven individual to be part of our customer service team in maintenance services.

Burlington Capital Properties prides itself in the quality service we provide to our service men and women and their families by maintaining a quality home and supportive community. This Customer Service Representative role is the first impression and support to our residents should they require any maintenance repairs in their home. The successful candidate will possess an unwavering “can do spirit” and ability to maintain a positive, upbeat demeanor at all times.

This full-time position requires availability Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00 PM.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Managing information and materials by inputting data (informational and financial) into databases, typing (editing, formatting, and printing text, data and graphics) and copying documents as needed.
  • Create, print and distribute operational reports as required.
  • Order and maintain all necessary office supplies.
  • Coordinates the flow of information through the department, including operation of the telephone system, scanner and facsimile machine as required.
  • Assists in the coordination of maintenance work order scheduling and preventative office machine maintenance and repairs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by receiving and assisting visitors to the department.
  • Arranges appointments with contractors for warranty appointments.
  • Conduct courtesy follow-up calls on maintenance work orders.
  • Maintains filing operations.
  • Maintains clean and orderly appearance of department areas by notifying office manager of any necessary repairs or special cleaning needs; tidying up supply and filing areas as needed.
  • Contributes to team effort by assisting in any other office duties within his or her capabilities as requested by management.
  • Attend and participate in all staff meetings.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum three years previous general office/customer service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of the military culture preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Typing skills of 45 – 50 wpm required.
  • Basic math and bookkeeping skills required.
  • Proficient computer skills to perform essential functions.
  • Familiar with operating office machines i.e. fax, copier, binders, etc.
  • Maintenance background preferred
  • Possess excellent prioritizing and organizational skills.
  • Must have a basic understanding of the English language and be able to communicate with coworkers.
  • Ability to interact positively with residents, employees, vendors and the general public.
  • Excellent follow up and follow through skills; solid organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work as a team member.
  • Valid Driver's License may be required.
