Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Process tax return backup documentation, scanning, and final tax return assembly
  • Provide customers pleasant and friendly service both in person and virtually
  • Safeguard client confidential information and delivering in a secure manner
  • Manage the gatekeeping function for firm’s flow of information via a variety of mediums
  • Update and manage staff calendars for appointments
  • Monitor office supplies
  • Maintain a clean and organized work and customer area
  • Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax forms, depending upon experience
  • Reconcile bank statements, depending upon experience

Skills Needed:

  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must have great organizational skills and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to follow process and procedures from start to finish
  • Experience with MS-Office, QuickBooks, and office equipment is preferred
  • Desire to expand this position into additional bookkeeping and tax duties

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Bookkeeping or tax background preferred, but not required

Hours:

  • Seasonal: December - April
  • 20-40 hours per week
  • Office is open Monday - Friday, some Saturdays may be needed as deadlines approach
