At Embrace Dentistry, we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant (part time) to join our team in Dakota Dunes, SD. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dentists with patient care and ensuring that each visit is a positive experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure the dental practice is clean and organized
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited dental assisting program is preferred
- X-ray certification is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Prior experience in a dental office is a plus
