eBAY SALES EXPERT
Sol’s Jewelry and Loan is looking for an experienced results-driven eBay Sales Expert to be responsible for all sales job duties. This individual will work as part of a team to meet department and store objectives while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Market products on eBay site, using well-established selling procedures and techniques
- Respond to customers inquiries regarding products, and shipments, ensuring that the right type and amount of information is forwarded
- Provides customers with information on shipment amounts, in addition to the product cost
- Go through order files to determine the quality and type of products ordered
- Look through online and physical inventory to determine the availability of products
- Pick, pack, label and ship products to the customer, and provide delivery timelines
- Respond to customer complaints regarding service and product quality, aiming to attempt to correct their issues
- Oversee inventory to ensure product availability, and assess stock situations
- Create and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure that products are delivered timely
- Provide customers with detailed information regarding payment options, band process credit and debit card payments
- Handles returns and exchanges in sync with the guidelines provided by the company
REQUIREMENTS
- High school degree; Associate degree in Business, Marketing, or related field would be a plus
- Solid understanding of on-line sales and customer service principles and practices
- 3 years’ experience as an eBay sales person
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales associate, Sales representative or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of, and desire to continually learn about commonly pawned items such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics
- Demonstrated selling skills including being able to effectively tell customers about the products
- Able to identify what customers are looking for by listening carefully to what the customer is saying
- Understanding of how trends in the market change quickly with ability to adapt to changes
- Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
- Strong attention to detail skills with the ability to focus on detail
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
- Proficient with running a credit card processing machine, cash register, and counting change
- Familiarity with inventory procedures
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills to include proper phone etiquette
- Computer proficiency required
- Basic math skills required
- Proficiency in English required; bilingual preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Sales floor or warehouse environment
- Ability to work sitting and/or standing for long periods of time
- Ability to walk up flights of stairs and/or work in confined spaces
- Periodically works near moving mechanical parts and equipment*
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Availability to work flexible shifts that may include weekend, holiday or evening work as needed
*Sol’s Jewelry and Loan will provide training and personal protective equipment as necessary.
