As demand for gate automation continues to grow, we’re looking for someone who can step in and help us execute at a high level.
Position Overview
We are hiring a Gate Automation Technician to assist with installation, wiring, and setup of automatic gate systems. This role is hands-on and requires someone comfortable working with low voltage and 110 electrical connections, troubleshooting issues, and working outdoors on active job sites.
This is not an entry-level “helper” role—we need someone who can think, problem-solve, and take ownership of their work.
Key Responsibilities
Install and wire automatic gate operators (swing and slide gates)
Run and connect low voltage and 110 wiring safely and correctly
Install access control systems (keypads, remotes, sensors, loops, etc.)
Troubleshoot wiring and system issues in the field
Work alongside fence crews to coordinate installs
Ensure clean, professional, and code-compliant work
Communicate with supervisors on job progress and issues
What We’re Looking For
Experience with low voltage wiring, electrical work, or gate automation
Comfortable working with 110 power and basic electrical troubleshooting
Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams (or willing to learn quickly)
Strong problem-solving skills—can figure things out in the field
Reliable, shows up ready to work, and takes pride in quality
Able to work outdoors in Mississippi conditions
Preferred (Not Required)
Experience installing gate operators (LiftMaster, Viking, Doorking, etc.)
Background in electrical, security systems, or access control
Experience running conduit and trenching for wire
