We’re looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Health & Wellness Clerk to join our team and help our customers make informed, confident choices for their well-being.
Position Overview
As a Health & Wellness Clerk, you’ll assist with stocking, merchandising, and ordering products while providing friendly and informed customer service. You’ll work closely with the department manager to maintain well-organized displays, track inventory, and educate customers about supplements, natural body care, and other wellness products. This position is ideal for someone who’s passionate about natural health and enjoys engaging with people.
Responsibilities
• Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable assistance to customers seeking information on supplements, vitamins, and wellness products.
• Assist the department manager with ordering, receiving, and restocking merchandise.
• Ensure shelves and displays are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Follow proper product rotation and quality control practices.
• Maintain accurate signage, pricing, and promotional materials.
• Assist in tracking inventory levels and reporting low or out-of-stock items.
• Keep current on product knowledge, new arrivals, and natural health trends.
• Support merchandising and display changes for seasonal or promotional resets.
• Follow all store procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy and welcoming department.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to provide a smooth shopping experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and use of hands/fingers for stocking and handling products.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English with customers and team members.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet for ordering and inventory tasks.
Schedule
Shifts vary by need and assignment Monday–Sunday. Health & Wellness Clerks are typically scheduled for 6–8 hour shifts, including some weekends and holidays as needed. All staff are expected to maintain regular and punctual attendance, adhering to assigned schedules and communicating promptly about any requested schedule changes.
Preferred Qualifications
• 18 years of age or older.
• Previous experience in retail, supplements, or natural health products preferred.
• Strong interest in nutrition, supplements, and holistic wellness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and stay informed about new products and trends.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on customer care.
