Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Provides a variety of support to the Housing Manager and Housing Director with all of the housing/weatherization programs.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ensure that all housing program applications are taken accurately as set forth by the program guidelines
  2. Ensure all applications, requests for information, and responses to mail, phone, and email messages are completed in a timely manner (8 to 10 hours)
  3. Maintain rent/utility logs for CNCAP rentals on a daily basis and reconcile monthly, to include correspondence with tenants who are behind in rent/utility payments
  4. Work with clients by explaining to them the different Housing programs
  5. Complete new applications on tenants applying for a CNCAP rental in accordance with the funding source requirements
  6. Assist the Weatherization Coordinator in maintaining the required forms and databases, per NEO regulations, to include: billings, energy user, energy burden, historical, quarterly reports, etc.
  7. Adhere to all CNCAP related policies and procedures
  8. Promote the program and agency in a positive and professional manner

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. A high school diploma or GED required
  2. Valid driver's license
  3. 1-3 years of experience in an office setting/customer service

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  1. Problem-solving skills
  2. Communication skills
  3. Knowledge in word, excel, PowerPoint, and databases
  4. Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  5. Demonstrated ability to work with others

SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday: 7am - 5pm

REPORTS TO: Housing Director

JOB STATUS: Full-Time, 40 hours per week

PAY: TBD
