Maintenance Technician Apprentice
Engineered Systems in Archdale, NC is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician Apprentice. This is an incredible opportunity to kick-start your career in skilled maintenance and build your skills while working alongside experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist maintenance technicians in performing equipment inspections to identify maintenance needs
- Learn to troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems on cranes and hoists
- Learn to use and maintain hand and power tools correctly and safely
- Follow strict safety standards and protocols
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
- Communicate effectively with team members and superiors
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance record
- Ability to lift, push/pull 50labs routinely and work in hot environments
