Maintenance Technician - Engineered Systems

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician for our Greenville/Spartanburg location. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various crane and hoist systems, ensuring their smooth operation and minimizing downtime. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of our systems, contributing to our culture of excellence, customer satisfaction and product safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance tasks on crane and hoist systems to ensure their optimal functionality.
  • Diagnose systems issues, troubleshoot problems, and perform repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Conduct inspections, identify potential problems, and provide solutions to prevent system failures.
  • Assist in the overall maintenance of systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Create and maintain maintenance and inspection logs and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and participate in training programs as required.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar industrial role.
  • Strong understanding of various electrical and mechanical systems including single and 3-phase motors, DC motors, VFD controls, PLC’s & low and high voltage systems.
  • Knowledge of safety guidelines, procedures, and practices related to maintenance and repairs.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy parts when required.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses may be required.
