Job Description
Administers medications under the direction of an RN or LPN. Knowledge of medications and their procedures to ensure safe administration. Requires numerical ability and clerical perception. Follows the 5 rights of medication administration to ensure accurate and timely administration of medications.
May be asked to work as CNA to assist when needed.
Licenses and Certifications Required - Current North Dakota MedAide II or MedAide III certification
- Current North Dakota CNA certification
- CPR certified required within 30 days
Educational Requirements Experience Requirements - 1-2 years CNA experience preferred, but not required
Special Skills or Training Requirements - Must be organized
