Job Description:

We are hiring a Microencapsulation Process Engineer to lead the development and optimization of microencapsulation processes for food-grade applications. This role involves designing, testing, and improving encapsulation systems to enhance the delivery and stability of active ingredients in food products. The engineer will work closely with R&D, production, and quality teams to implement cutting-edge encapsulation technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize microencapsulation processes for various food ingredients.

  • Develop process parameters and protocols to ensure efficient encapsulation.

  • Collaborate with R&D teams to scale up encapsulation processes from lab to production.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot encapsulation equipment and processes.

  • Conduct trials to test the stability and performance of encapsulated products.

  • Ensure all processes comply with food safety and quality regulations.

  • Document process development activities and generate technical reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology/Engineering, Biology, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in food or pharmaceutical encapsulation.

  • Strong understanding of microencapsulation technologies and techniques.

  • Experience with process scale-up and equipment validation.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Knowledge of GMP and HACCP standards.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position, Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
  • Work may involve exposure to chemicals and controlled environments.
  • Standing for extended periods and operating heavy machinery may be required.
