Sales Representative – New Account Development (DSD Ice Cream Industry)
Location: Marietta, GA
Market: Atlanta Metro Area
Salary: $50,000 Annually – Salary + Commission
Are you a driven salesperson who thrives on building new business? Do you enjoy being out in the market, meeting store owners, and growing territory sales? We’re looking for a motivated Sales Representative to focus on acquiring new customer accounts in the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) ice cream industry. Davis Ice Cream is a family-oriented company dedicated to delivering high-quality products and excellent service to our customers.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys prospecting, closing deals, and developing long-term relationships in the frozen desert market.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect and acquire new accounts throughout the Atlanta metro area
- Present ice cream and frozen product lines to convenience stores, grocery stores, restaurants, and other outlets
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers and store managers
- Increase territory sales through strategic account development
- Coordinate new account setups with operations and delivery teams
- Monitor competitor activity and identify growth opportunities
- Report sales activity and performance metrics regularly
What We’re Looking For
- Proven sales experience (DSD or food & beverage industry preferred)
- Strong closing and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Clean MVR
- Familiarity with the Atlanta market is a plus
