We're Hiring an Ophthalmologist Tech!

Responsibilities:

• Assist ophthalmologists in providing eye care services to patients
• Perform preliminary eye examinations, including measuring visual acuity and intraocular pressure
• Prepare patients for procedures and treatments by taking medical histories and explaining the process
• Administer eye drops and medications as directed by the ophthalmologist
• Assist with various diagnostic tests, such as refraction tests and visual field exams
• Maintain and clean ophthalmic equipment
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout their visit

Qualifications:

• Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) or equivalent certification preferred
• Prior experience working in an ophthalmology practice or clinic
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions accurately
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
