JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Post-Secondary Peer Mentor Coordinator
LOCATION: Post-Secondary Program
EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time Non-Exempt Position
SUPERVISOR: Director of Post-Secondary
JOB PURPOSE: The Peer Mentoring Program Coordinator supports the planning, implementation, and documentation of activities related to the Peer Mentoring Program. This role is responsible for fostering student engagement, maintaining accurate program records, and contributing to the growth and recognition of the mentoring community.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Plan and help execute events and group activities for students participating in the Peer Mentoring Program Coordinate logistics for mentor-mentee match meetings and track participation Request, prepare, and distribute peer mentor funds in coordination with program staff and program director Maintain clear and timely documentation of student communications and interactions Log student participation in outings and events using the P4K student data management system Support recruitment efforts for new peer mentors for the upcoming school year Organize mentor appreciation initiatives, such as preparing celebratory gift bags and submitting peer mentor award nominations Edit and distribute peer mentor surveys to gather feedback and inform program improvements

Preferred Qualifications:
Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing
Strong organizational and time management skills
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow through on tasks independently
Comfortable engaging with peers in both group and one-on-one settings
Interest in youth development, education, or peer leadership programs is a plus
