About Us:
At Stepping Stones, we provide a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children ages 6 weeks-12 years old. Our mission is to support the growth and development of each child through hands-on activities, educational programs, and creative play.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development.
- Drive a 15 passenger van
- Take children on lots of summer field trips
- Supervise and support children in group settings and during recreational activities.
- Foster positive relationships with children and encourage them to express themselves.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and development.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Early Childhood Education degree or certification preferred).
- Experience working with school-age children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere for children.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
