Field Day Brewing Co., the first and only brewery in North Liberty, IA is looking for experienced full and part-time Servers to join our team.
As a Server at Field Day Brewing Co., you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests, taking orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience. You’ll work closely with front-of-house and back-of-house staff to provide accurate and timely service in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
What is Field Day Brewing Co.? Field Day Brewing Co. is the first and only brewery in North Liberty, IA, excited to reframe & disrupt the traditional view on breweries by bringing exciting opportunities paired with world-class beer. We brew everything from Hazy IPAs, big and bold stouts, and overly-fruited sours. While we don’t like pigeon-holing ourselves into one specific category, our custom brewhouse and cereal cooker allows us to specialize in German and Czech lagers—the light & crispy stuff that is super sessionable.
In addition to our amazingly brewed beverages, we offer a full-service menu carefully constructed and prepared on-site by our amazing cooks.

Pay: $4.35/hour + tips (averaging $18–$25/hour with tips, paid out nightly)
Schedule: Full or part-time. Shifts are anywhere from 4-8 hours depending on your availability. Sunday availability is highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities
- Give guests the greatest brewery experience of all time. Greet customers, take drink orders, and serve beer and food in a timely and friendly manner.
- Offer recommendations and educate customers on different beer styles, brewery offerings, food and pairing suggestions.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly and correctly, ensuring the correct order and presentation.
- Monitor guest needs, including refilling drinks, clearing plates, and keeping tables clean and organized.
- Process transactions through the POS, handle cash, and ensure accurate billing.
- Clean and sanitize glassware, equipment, and the bar area regularly.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, contributing to a great social atmosphere.
- Monitor customers' alcohol consumption and intervene when necessary to ensure a safe environment.
- Process customer payments, provide change, and ensure accurate billing.
- Assist guests with check-in and any questions that they may have.
- Familiarize yourself with our fantastic food & beverage menu and make suggestions for our guests.
- Work efficiently and with urgency; this is a large venue that requires coverage of extensive areas.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Participate in Pre-Shift rallies
- Adopt and embody Field Day Brewing Co.’s mission and core values.
- Promote and encourage the purchase of merchandise and to-go cans.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
- Stand for long periods of time
- Prior experience as a server is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of food, beer, cocktails, wine, and spirits, with a passion for craft beers.
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
