Job Description
Position Summary:
The Shipping Supervisor will assist the Operations Manager in overseeing shipping activities and personnel to ensure that products are properly loaded for delivery.

- Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- 3 - 4 years previous warehouse or shipping experience is highly preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures product handling and delivery practices meet customer expectations
- Monitors freight movement using various computer software applications
- Conducts daily inspections
- Assess efficiency and performance of shipping activities
- Enforces operating instructions and safety policies
- Escalates team issue or conflicts when necessary to management or human resources
- Covers for Operations Manager during absences
- Assist in inventory count and allocate space for stock
- Performs other duties as assigned
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Work is usually performed in a warehouse and manufacturing environment
- Physical demands of the position are sitting, walking, and lifting
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 25 lbs at one time
