Compensation: $50,100.00 annual starting based on experience, plus overtime and performance bonuses
Schedule: Monday–Friday with opportunity for overtime
About the Role
Xenotronics Company, a trusted leader in the electronic security industry since 1986, is seeking a Security Systems Technician to install, service, and maintain security, fire, and access control systems for commercial and residential clients in Davenport and the greater Quad Cities area.

Key Responsibilities
- Install and service security systems, including burglary controls, video surveillance, fire detection, and access control
- Follow safety protocols, including ladder safety and proper equipment handling
- Perform mechanical tasks including wire pulling and tool operation
- Operate computer-based systems for layout, installation, and system preparation
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate professionally with clients and contractors
- Maintain accurate daily work orders and track company tools and products
- Maintain required state certifications and company vehicle responsibly
- Work cooperatively with team members and represent the company professionally
Desired Skills & Experience
- Mechanical and electronic aptitude
- Problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of safety protocols
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Background check approval
- Prior work history in security, electronics, or military experience preferred
