About the Role
PSC Construction is hiring immediately for a Skilled Laborer II – Underground Utilities to join our team in Omaha, NE. In this role, you will assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utility systems, including water, sewer, and storm drain lines.
This position is also commonly referred to as Underground Utility Laborer, Construction Laborer, or Skilled Construction Worker, making it ideal for experienced professionals ready to advance their career in underground utilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utility systems
- Operate hand tools and heavy machinery such as backhoes and excavators
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with underground utilities
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and safety awareness
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass OSCC Level 2+ background/drug screening
