Location: Omaha, NE | Type: Full-Time

The Opportunity We’re looking for a Technical Program & Standards Specialist to elevate our field and office operations through clear, consistent processes and workforce development. In this role, you’ll:

· Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices for our Surveying and VDC teams.

· Build and manage a formal apprenticeship program with a local technical college.

· Help onboard and train staff to follow established standards.

· Act as a go-to resource for technical excellence, process innovation, and industry trends.

What You’ll Do

· Create, refine, and manage SOPs and best practices for all core workflows.

· Partner with leadership and staff to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.

· Launch and run an apprenticeship program that bridges classroom learning with hands-on field training.

· Support onboarding and conduct refresher training sessions.

What We’re Looking For

· Bachelor’s degree in Education, HR, Business, or related field.

· 3+ years’ experience in training, instructional design, or process development.

· Strong communication skills with the ability to make complex topics simple.

· Organized, proactive, and collaborative — with a passion for improving systems and developing people.

Preferred

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and document management tools.

· Experience in instructional writing or training facilitation.
