**This job is located in Rapid City, SD**
We’re looking for a skilled finishing specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Prep, sand, seal, and apply high-performance coatings (lacquer, enamel, epoxy, urethane, or similar) by hand and using HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spray equipment.
Achieve flawless finishes on complex and curved surfaces
Wet sand, buff, and polish to final mirror gloss and smoothness
Maintain consistent color, sheen, and durability across production
Maintain and clean spray guns, spray booth, and safety equipment (respirators, filters, PPE)
Follow proper safety protocols for handling coatings, solvents, and spray environments
Qualifications:
Proven experience with performance spray finishing (guitar, surfboard, skateboard, or automotive finishing a strong plus)
Strong skills in layering, sanding, and polishing to a high standard.
High attention to detail and craftsmanship
Comfort troubleshooting spray systems and experimenting with techniques
